The Mental Health & Well-Being Cell, Government College Kullu, is committed to promoting a supportive, inclusive and healthy campus environment in line with the vision of NEP 2020, which emphasises the holistic development and well-being of learners. The Cell focuses on the mental, emotional, social and physical well-being of students and encourages them to develop self-awareness, emotional resilience, confidence, empathy and healthy coping skills.
Through awareness programmes, counselling support, workshops, interactive sessions and wellness activities, the Cell addresses issues such as stress, anxiety, emotional challenges, addiction awareness and healthy lifestyle practices. It aims to create a campus culture where students feel heard, respected, valued and supported, enabling them to cope effectively with challenges and achieve their academic, personal and social potential.
Objectives
